Draw reinforcement (straight bar)

Click out the run the bars follow and get metres of reinforcement per size.

  1. 1

Pick Reinforcement (“Armering”) in the tool rail

The tool only exists on a foundation drawing. If it is grey, the drawing is still a drainage drawing.

  2. 2

    Click out the run

Click along the stretch the bars lie on — just as when you draw a pipe run. Double-click or press Enter when the run is done.

Worth knowing. What you click out is the RUN, not a single bar. How many bars go along it is what the tool asks about in the next step.

  3. 3

Pick the size in the box Straight bar along the run (“Rakstål längs sträckan”)

The box shows how long the run came out. Pick Dimension — 6 to 32 mm — and type how many bars go along it.

  4. 4

    Add more in another size

If both Ø12 and Ø16 go along the same run, press More in another size (“Fler av annan dimension”) and fill in the next row. Every row counts on its own.

Worth knowing. The box totals it all at the bottom: “Totalt X m armeringsjärn” (X m of reinforcement bar in total). Check it against the drawing before you save.

  5. 5

    Save

Press Save (“Spara”). The run lands in Drawn and measured (“Ritat och mätt”), and the metres in the bill of quantities per size.

  6. 6

    Change it afterwards

Click the row in Drawn and measured (“Ritat och mätt”) to select it. There you change the size and the number, or delete the run.
